AutoCAD Draftsman

Job Responsibilities

• Enter, update, and maintain maintenance-related technical data and records.
• Work on AutoCAD drawings for machinery layouts, equipment locations.
• Update existing mechanical drawings as per instructions from the maintenance and engineering teams.
• Maintain records of machines, equipment, spare parts, and maintenance activities.
• Prepare and update equipment layouts, piping drawings, and technical documentation.
• Maintain equipment lists, preventive maintenance records, and breakdown reports in MS Excel.
• Coordinate with maintenance engineers and technicians to collect technical details and drawing updates.
• Maintain proper documentation of drawings, revisions, and equipment specifications.
• Ensure accuracy of data entry and maintain updated digital records.
• Assist the maintenance team with reports, documentation, and other computer-related work.

Educational Qualification

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or ITI with AutoCAD training preferred.
• Relevant AutoCAD certification or practical experience will be an advantage.

Experience

• 0–2 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting, technical data entry, or maintenance documentation preferred.
• Experience in textile, recycling, or manufacturing industries will be an advantage.

Required Skills

• Basic to good knowledge of AutoCAD 2D.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
• Ability to read and understand basic mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of equipment layouts, piping layouts, and technical documentation.
• Good typing accuracy and data management skills.
• Attention to detail and coordination skills.

Key Requirements

• Ability to coordinate with maintenance engineers and technicians.
• Maintain accurate drawings and technical records.
• Ensure proper file naming, drawing revisions, and documentation.
• Willingness to work at the company's plant in Kim, Surat.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
