AutoCAD Millwork Drafter

Job Summary

We are seeking a detailed-oriented AutoCAD Millwork Drafter to join our design and engineering team. You will be responsible for translating architectural designs into accurate, fabrication ready shop drawings for custom cabinetry, casework, and high-end architectural millwork. The ideal candidate has strong understanding of woodworking construction and can draft shop drawings to meet deadlines in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Create detailed 2D technical drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections and details using AutoCAD.

2. Interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and rough sketches.

3. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and shop to resolve design or assembly conflicts.

4. Revise drawings to incorporate client feedback and field dimensions for fabrication.

Skills:

1. Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in Architectural Millwork or custom cabinetry drafting.

2. Software: Minimum of 1 year experience in AutoCAD. Experience with Cabinet Vision, Sketch Up is a plus.

3. Soft Skills: High attention to detail, the ability to work with deadlines, and good communication skills.

4. Industry Skills: Working knowledge of AWI Architectural Woodworking Institute standards and ADA building codes.

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
