Role Summary:

We are seeking Mid-Senior AutoCAD Operators (ICT / Network Passive) with strong hands-on experience in technical cabling and network infrastructure drafting, to join a growing engineering business supporting a major airport infrastructure project in Vietnam. The ideal candidate is a strong self-starter who can independently trace project requirements from architectural input through to fully detailed, distribution-accurate technical drawings and material quantities.

Working Location: On-site (Bac Ninh, Vietnam)

Work Schedule: 8AM - 5PM, Monday - Friday (ICT)

Key Responsibilities:

• Draw cable trays, conduits, data cables and data ports according to pre-prepared architectural drawings and specified project requirements
• Create riser diagrams accurately reflecting the vertical distribution of network infrastructure
• Place racks according to defined distribution points
• Prepare rack layouts and patch panel diagrams in line with data port distribution requirements
• Clearly label data ports, cables, and racks within all technical drawings
• Determine and document material quantities for each drawing to support project BOQ preparation
• For on-site staff: collaborate directly and continuously with other on-site design personnel to ensure consistency across drawings
• For remote staff: coordinate regularly with the on-site design team to receive updated drawings and confirm design intent

Must-Have:

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical, ICT, Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related technical field
• Approximately 3-5+ years of hands-on AutoCAD drafting experience, ideally within ICT/network passive infrastructure or structured cabling
• Demonstrated experience drawing cable trays, conduits, data ports, riser diagrams, and rack/patch panel layouts
• Ability to read and accurately translate architectural drawings into detailed technical/cabling drawings
• Proven ability to calculate and document material quantities from completed drawings
• Strong attention to detail and consistency, particularly when working as part of a multi-person drafting team
• Ability to work effectively either on-site as part of a collaborative team, or independently in a remote capacity (depending on role)
• Working proficiency in English sufficient to follow project documentation and communicate with the design team

Nice-to-Have:

• Familiarity with structured cabling standards (e.g., BICSI)
• Working knowledge of Revit/BIM, sufficient to support handoff to the BIM team
• Prior experience on airport, transportation, or other large-scale infrastructure/construction projects
• Experience with a formal QA/QC drawing review process
