Job Description

GrowthRise Solutions is looking for an experienced AutoCAD / Revit Drafter with a strong understanding of construction drawings and hands-on experience working with Point Cloud data and Scan-to-BIM workflows.

The successful candidate will be responsible for converting 3D laser scan data into accurate As-Built drawings and BIM models for residential and commercial buildings.

This is not a basic drafting position. We are looking for someone who can accurately interpret Point Cloud data, understand existing building conditions, and produce detailed technical drawings and models.

Key Responsibilities

• Convert Point Cloud and 3D laser scan data into accurate As-Built drawings.
• Create detailed floor plans, sections, elevations, dimensions, and levels.
• Interpret existing building geometry and construction elements.
• Develop accurate drawings based on actual site conditions.
• Work with residential, villa, apartment, and commercial building projects.
• Maintain proper CAD/BIM file organization and standards.
• Perform quality control to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Coordinate drawings and models according to project requirements.
• Identify and resolve drafting or measurement discrepancies.

Required Skills

• Advanced AutoCAD skills are mandatory.
• Strong experience creating floor plans, sections, and elevations.
• Proficiency with Layers, Blocks, XREFs, Polylines, Hatches, and Dimensions.
• Ability to read and understand architectural and construction drawings.
• Strong understanding of building geometry and construction elements.
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and perform quality control.
• Good English communication skills.
• Revit/BIM experience is a strong advantage.
• Point Cloud, Scan-to-CAD, or Scan-to-BIM experience is highly preferred.

Preferred Software Experience

Experience with any of the following will be an advantage:

• Autodesk AutoCAD
• Autodesk Revit
• Autodesk ReCap
• Trimble RealWorks
• CloudCompare
• Leica Cyclone
• FARO Scene
• Similar Point Cloud processing software

Required Experience

• 2–3+ years of professional AutoCAD experience.
• Experience producing architectural or construction drawings.
• Experience with residential, villa, apartment, or commercial building projects.
• Ability to extract accurate dimensions, levels, and building details from drawings or scan data.
• Background in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or BIM is preferred.
• Point Cloud and Revit experience is highly preferred.
• Relevant portfolio is required.

Practical Test

Shortlisted candidates will receive a Point Cloud scan of one floor of a residential property and will be required to complete a practical drafting test of approximately 3–4 hours.

• AutoCAD/Revit skills
• Construction understanding
• Dimensions and levels
• File organization
• Attention to detail
• Overall quality of the final deliverable
