AutoCAD Structural Designer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Structural Designer to join our Design team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate structural drawings, layouts, and detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of structural drafting, construction drawings, and the ability to understand technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed structural drawings and layouts using AutoCAD.
• Create 2D drawings, sections, elevations, and detailed construction drawings.
• Prepare drawings as per project requirements and technical specifications.
• Modify and update drawings based on design changes and project requirements.
• Coordinate with engineers and the design team to ensure accuracy of drawings.
• Check drawings for dimensions, specifications, and technical accuracy.
• Maintain proper records and revisions of drawings.
• Understand structural and construction-related drawings and details.
• Prepare shop drawings and fabrication/detailing drawings when required.
• Ensure drawings are completed within project timelines.
• Follow company standards and drawing procedures.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D.
• Good understanding of structural drafting and detailing.
• Knowledge of construction drawings and technical documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings.
• Good knowledge of dimensions, scales, sections, and elevations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as with a team.

Qualification

• Diploma / ITI / B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Candidates with relevant AutoCAD drafting experience may also apply.

Experience

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in AutoCAD structural drafting/design.
• Freshers with strong AutoCAD skills and relevant technical knowledge may also be considered.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
