Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain automatic doors, ensuring smooth operation and safety compliance.
• Conduct glass installation, fixture installation, and metal stud framing as needed for door setup or repair projects.
• Interpret technical drawings and schematics to accurately assemble and troubleshoot door mechanisms.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and other construction tools to perform precise mechanical repairs and installations.
• Collaborate with construction teams on site to ensure proper building code compliance during installations or modifications.
• Lift heavy materials safely during door hanging or metal framing tasks; manage construction site safety protocols at all times.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining system functions, addressing client concerns, and ensuring satisfaction after service visits.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in door installation, repair, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in glass installation, drywall work, caulking, and fixture installation related to door systems.
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and construction site procedures.
• Knowledge of building code requirements relevant to automatic doors and related construction activities.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately for precise installation or repairs.
• Construction site experience including drywall work, metal stud framing, heavy lifting, and drywall finishing.
• Excellent customer service skills with a professional approach when interacting with clients.
• Familiarity with electrical systems involved in automated doors including wiring and sensor integration.
• Experience with mechanical repair techniques for door operators and related hardware.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining safety standards.
