Automatic/ Low Voltage Service Technician

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automatic/Low Voltage Service Technician to join our team. This role involves installing, troubleshooting, and repairing automatic openers, sliding door systems, and low voltage security systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with automatic door systems and low voltage integrations, ensuring smooth operation and customer satisfaction.

Duties

• Install automatic openers for doors and troubleshoot any issues that arise during or after installation.
• Install automatic sliding door systems and perform troubleshooting to resolve operational problems.
• Integrate low voltage security systems with automatic openers to ensure seamless functionality.
• Troubleshoot and repair various door issues, including mechanical and electrical problems of all types.
• Conduct routine maintenance on automatic door systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose system faults accurately using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and meet customer expectations.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in installing, troubleshooting, and repairing automatic door openers and sliding systems.
• Knowledge of low voltage security system integration with automation equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly and effectively.
• Ability to read technical diagrams, manuals, and schematics related to automatic doors and low voltage systems.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members professionally.
• Valid relevant certifications or licenses are preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to safety standards and procedures in all aspects of work.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 55.0 per week
