Automation & Control Engineer / Technician (PLC / SCADA / IoT)

About the role

Help develop and maintain PLC, SCADA, and IoT platforms, covering machine control programming, instrument integration, system testing, visualization, and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Write and modify PLC programs using Mitsubishi, Siemens, or equivalent platforms to coordinate equipment such as pumps, valves, compressors, and measuring instruments.
• Understand and work with PID control systems.
• Develop HMI / SCADA graphics for visualization, operator commands, operating settings, and fault alarms.
• Integrate PLCs, machinery, and instruments with HMI / SCADA / IoT platforms using suitable interfaces and communication methods, such as hardwired signals, Modbus RTU/TCP, OPC UA, or MQTT.
• Learn to develop dashboards for remote machine control, data storage, and visualization of wastewater treatment parameters.
• Perform FAT / SAT, pre-commissioning, and commissioning of machine control systems, and prepare customer handover documentation.
• Review suppliers' electrical drawings for power distribution and machine control panels.
• Prepare I/O lists, control descriptions, and operating manuals, and maintain backups of machine control programs.
• Coordinate with design, installation, and service teams; train users; and manage remote access in accordance with project permissions and security requirements.

Qualifications

• Higher vocational diploma or bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation and Control, Computer Engineering / Computing, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience with PLC, HMI, SCADA, or automation and control systems.
• Ability to program and troubleshoot at least one PLC brand, such as Mitsubishi or Siemens, and use the relevant software.
• Understanding of PLC, SCADA, and IoT platform operation and integration, from data acquisition and control to visualization, storage, and reporting.
• Basic knowledge of industrial networks, IP configuration, and communication protocols; ability to read electrical drawings and equipment manuals in English.
• Systematic problem-solving skills, accountability, teamwork, and clear communication with users.
• Ability to drive to off-site work locations and possession of a valid car driving licence.

Preferred Skills and Experience

·      Experience with water treatment, wastewater treatment, utility systems, or industrial machinery, with examples of projects and a clear explanation of your responsibilities.

·      Experience integrating IoT gateways or developing dashboards and reports using tools such as Node-RED, Grafana, SQL, or equivalent solutions.

·      Experience with instrumentation, VFDs, PID control, or remote control.

หน้าที่และความรับผิดชอบ

·    พัฒนาหน้าจอกราฟิกบน HMI / SCADA สำหรับแสดงผล สั่งงาน ตั้งค่าการทำงาน และแจ้งเตือนความผิดปกติ

·    เชื่อมต่อ PLC กับเครื่องจักรและเครื่องมือวัดผ่านสัญญาณแบบเดินสายโดยตรง (Hardwired I/O) หรือเครือข่ายสื่อสาร และเชื่อมโยงข้อมูลกับ HMI / SCADA / IoT Platform โดยเลือกใช้โปรโตคอลที่เหมาะสม เช่น Modbus RTU/TCP, OPC UA หรือ MQTT

·    เรียนรู้และพัฒนา Dashboard สำหรับควบคุมเครื่องจักรจากระยะไกล จัดเก็บข้อมูล และแสดงค่าพารามิเตอร์ของระบบบำบัดน้ำเสีย

·    ดำเนินการทดสอบ FAT / SAT ตรวจสอบความพร้อมก่อนเริ่มเดินระบบ (Pre-commissioning) และทดสอบเริ่มเดินระบบ (Commissioning) ของระบบควบคุมเครื่องจักร พร้อมจัดทำเอกสารส่งมอบให้ลูกค้า

·    ตรวจสอบแบบไฟฟ้าของตู้จ่ายไฟและตู้ควบคุมเครื่องจักรที่ได้รับจากผู้จัดหาอุปกรณ์ (Supplier)

·    จัดทำรายการสัญญาณเข้าและออก (I/O List) คำอธิบายการควบคุม และคู่มือการใช้งาน พร้อมสำรองโปรแกรมควบคุมเครื่องจักร

·    ประสานงานกับทีมออกแบบ ติดตั้ง และบริการ อบรมผู้ใช้งาน และดูแลการเข้าถึงระบบระยะไกลตามสิทธิ์และมาตรการความปลอดภัยของโครงการ

คุณสมบัติผู้สมัคร

·    วุฒิ ปวส. หรือปริญญาตรี สาขาไฟฟ้า อิเล็กทรอนิกส์ เมคคาทรอนิกส์ ระบบควบคุมอัตโนมัติ คอมพิวเตอร์ หรือสาขาที่เกี่ยวข้อง

·    มีประสบการณ์เกี่ยวกับ PLC, HMI, SCADA หรือระบบควบคุมอัตโนมัติ 2–3 ปี

·    เขียนโปรแกรมและแก้ไขปัญหา PLC ได้อย่างน้อย 1 ยี่ห้อ เช่น Mitsubishi หรือ Siemens และใช้งานซอฟต์แวร์ที่เกี่ยวข้องได้

·    เข้าใจหลักการทำงานและการเชื่อมต่อ PLC, SCADA และ IoT Platform ตั้งแต่รับข้อมูล ควบคุมสั่งการ แสดงผล ไปจนถึงจัดเก็บข้อมูลและออกรายงาน

·    มีพื้นฐานเครือข่ายอุตสาหกรรม การตั้งค่า IP และโปรโตคอลสื่อสาร พร้อมอ่านแบบไฟฟ้าและคู่มืออุปกรณ์ภาษาอังกฤษได้

·    วิเคราะห์ปัญหาอย่างเป็นระบบ รับผิดชอบงาน ทำงานร่วมกับทีม และสื่อสารกับผู้ใช้งานได้ดี
