Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Automation Architect to lead and drive enterprise-wide automation initiatives across Web, Mobile, and API testing. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on expertise in Playwright, Selenium, Appium, and API Automation , with proven experience in designing automation frameworks, defining automation strategy, and implementing best practices across quality engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement enterprise-level test automation strategy and roadmap .
• Design scalable, reusable, and maintainable automation frameworks for Web, Mobile, and API applications .
• Drive an Automation-First approach across testing and quality engineering teams.
• Establish automation standards, coding guidelines, governance models, and best practices.
• Evaluate and recommend automation tools, technologies, and frameworks to improve testing efficiency.
• Integrate automation suites with modern CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Mentor automation engineers and provide technical leadership across projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance quality, productivity, and test coverage.

Mandatory Skills

• Web Automation: Playwright, Selenium
• Mobile Automation: Appium
• API Automation: REST Assured, Postman, or similar frameworks
• Programming: Java / JavaScript / TypeScript
• CI/CD: Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI
• Automation Framework Design & Architecture
• Agile & DevOps Practices

Preferred Skills

• BFSI / Banking Domain Experience
• AI/GenAI usage in Testing and Automation
• Cloud-based Test Automation

A highly skilled Automation Architect with extensive experience in building enterprise automation solutions using Playwright, Selenium, Appium, and API Automation frameworks . The candidate should have strong architecture expertise, hands-on automation capabilities, CI/CD integration experience, and the ability to drive automation excellence across large-scale quality engineering programs.
