Automation Control Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support automation, fabrication, and production activities within manufacturing operations.
• Perform hands-on machine assembly, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Support fabrication work, including machine modifications, mechanical fitting, and production equipment setup.
• Troubleshoot automation, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure reliable machine performance and uninterrupted production.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to improve equipment reliability and performance.
• Support process improvement and automation enhancement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce operational issues.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, technical specifications, and electrical schematics for equipment setup and troubleshooting.
• Assist with testing, calibration, and validation of automation systems and production equipment.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Automation Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong hands-on technical experience in automation systems, fabrication, machine assembly, and manufacturing processes.
• Additional certifications or training in PLC, automation systems, industrial maintenance, or fabrication would be an advantage.
