Automation Engineer

Job Summary:
The Automation Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and supporting automation systems, industrial AI applications, machine vision solutions, robotics integration, industrial data acquisition systems, and digital transformation initiatives. The position plays a key role in supporting the company's Industry 4.0 roadmap by improving productivity, quality, operational efficiency, and manufacturing performance through advanced technologies.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop industrial automation systems.
2. Program, troubleshoot, and optimize PLC, HMI, and industrial communication systems.
3. Develop AI and machine vision solutions for manufacturing applications.
4. Integrate industrial robots with automation and vision systems.
5. Develop industrial data acquisition, dashboards, and monitoring systems.
6. Support Industrial IoT, Smart Manufacturing, and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
7. Lead automation and digital transformation projects.
8. Analyze manufacturing data and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
9. Prepare technical documentation, standards, and engineering best practices.
10. Provide technical support and training to production and maintenance teams

Qualification:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial automation, robotics, machine vision, or related fields.
3. Experience in manufacturing environments is preferred.
4. Experience with industrial communication protocols such as TCP/IP, Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP, OPC UA, Profinet, CC-Link, or similar industrial networks.
5. Experience in integrating PLCs, HMIs, industrial robots, vision systems, and field devices is preferred.
