Automation Engineer

About the role

Design concept machines and create 2D & 3D technical drawings for fabrication and assembly. Design mechanical systems, jigs, fixtures, and machines using CAD software. Perform basic mechanical calculations and simulations, select standard components, and coordinate equipment lead times. Manage project timelines and budgets while preparing documentation and solving machine problems.

Key responsibilities

• Design concept machines and create 2D & 3D technical drawings for fabrication and assembly
• Design mechanical systems, jigs, fixtures, and machines using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
• Create BOM (Bill of Material) for machines
• Perform basic mechanical calculations and simulations
• Select standard components (bearings, motors, actuators, sensors, etc.) according to design needs
• Coordinate maker lead time equipment & drawing assembly
• Keep the budget within the plan
• Prepare document control MOU, PM, Manual, Safety
• Analyze and solve problems with machines
• Plan and control project timeline to achieve targets

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering/Mechatronics or related field
• 1-5 years of experience in machine design
• Able to use CAD (SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
• Basic knowledge of Automation, Pneumatics, and Hydraulics
• Able to manage multiple projects
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Proficiency in spoken, written, and reading English considered a plus

Good command of English (TOEIC score 500 up)
