This role works closely with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to develop automation solutions, calibration methodologies and manufacturing test systems that support new product introduction and ramping up to high-volume production. The successful candidate will own the lifecycle of manufacturing test and calibration stations from concept and development through validation, production acceptance, deployment, documentation, training and sustaining support.

You will contribute to the successful transfer of new products into manufacturing while driving improvements in product quality, manufacturing efficiency and measurement capability.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain and improve automated test and calibration systems using Python and associated software tools.
  • Design and implement calibration methodologies and automated test workflows for new products.
  • Integrate laboratory and manufacturing instrumentation into automated test systems.
  • Develop and maintain test system software, hardware configurations and supporting documentation.
  • Analyse product requirements and specifications to determine manufacturing test and calibration requirements.
  • Develop calibration plans, test procedures and acceptance criteria.
  • Support DVT, PVT and production qualification activities.
  • Ensure test stations, calibration systems, procedures and training materials are ready prior to product release.
  • Conduct station validation, qualification and acceptance activities before deployment into Manufacturing.
  • Support manufacturing investigations involving calibration issues, test failures and yield concerns.
  • Analyse production and calibration data to identify opportunities for yield, quality and efficiency improvements.
  • Support correlation studies, MSA, R&R and measurement uncertainty investigations where required.
  • Deliver technical training and support to Manufacturing and Engineering teams.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineers and technicians.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing test time, increasing throughput and improving manufacturing readiness.

All About YouWe seek individuals who share our passion and determination. Our commitment to customer success drives us to go the extra mile. If you're ready to join us in this mission, take a closer look at the minimum criteria for the position.
