Automation Engineer

BREMCA Automation Limited, a leading supplier and integrator of Automation & Control Solutions, are looking for an experienced Automation Engineer to join the Christchurch team.

With significant projects in the pipeline, we are keen to hear from motivated individuals with an understanding of automation and controls integration, working with PLC’s, HMI’s, SCADA, Telemetry and software systems.

As a member of our specialist team focused on Waters and Industrial Process Control, you will find an encouraging and ambitious environment, working with and supported by our diversely experienced group of engineers.

The ideal candidates will have:

• A relevant engineering degree or trade qualification.
• Knowledge and understanding of automation and control systems, architectures, and device application in the intended operating environments.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in the use of software, programming tools and Microsoft Office products.
• Experience with SCADA development and PLC programming.
• A strong interest in learning, continuous improvement, and innovation.
• A desire to both engineer and learn to manage all aspects of an automation project from initial proposals and costings, through to development and commissioning.
