AUTOMATION ENGINEER

Location: Dasmariñas City, Cavite
Employment Type: Full-Time

We are looking for an Automation Engineer who will be responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining, and improving automation systems and processes to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and reliability.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, and implement automation systems and solutions.
• Program, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC, HMI, and control systems.
• Monitor and improve automated processes and equipment performance.
• Conduct troubleshooting and corrective maintenance of automation and control systems.
• Assist in the installation, commissioning, testing, and validation of automated equipment.
• Develop and modify control programs based on operational requirements.
• Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Engineering, and other departments regarding automation-related concerns.
• Conduct root cause analysis and recommend solutions for recurring equipment and process issues.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, drawings, programs, and system records.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to increase productivity and reduce downtime.
• Ensure compliance with company safety standards and engineering procedures.
• Provide technical support and training to relevant personnel when needed.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• With experience in industrial automation, PLC programming, control systems, or automation engineering is preferred.
• Knowledge of PLC, HMI, sensors, motor controls, and industrial control systems.
• Knowledge of electrical schematics, control panels, and automation equipment.
• Experience in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of automated systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and willing to learn new technologies.
