What you'll be doing:

• Provide electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic design modifications and troubleshooting for automation equipment
• Specify, purchase, and install new automation based on production demands, including developing user requirement specifications
• Interface with equipment builders and suppliers on design features, quotations, and delivery times
• Write bills of material, work orders, purchase requisitions, and capital expenditure requests
• Prepare AutoCAD drawings and maintain project documentation
• Manage and coordinate plant and capital projects, including timelines and project history
• Direct and coordinate fabrication and installation activities to ensure equipment meets engineering and customer specifications
• Coordinate or perform validations and process engineering evaluations for automation
• Provide troubleshooting support and training for maintenance and engineering staff
• Support process improvements and cost reductions through Lean concepts

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic, or Industrial Engineering with 3+ years of manufacturing experience, or an Associate's degree with 6+ years
• Minimum 3-5 years of PLC automation/control experience
• Solid experience with automation system instrumentation and field device technology
• Vision systems and real-time data historian experience a plus
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD
• Familiarity with SAP, Master Control, or similar systems a plus
