We provide engineering, installation, commissioning, and technical support services to manufacturing plants, fuel stations, commercial facilities, and industrial clients throughout the Philippines.

As our operations continue to expand, we are looking for five (5) highly motivated Automation Engineer to join our Parañaque Branch.

Job Summary

The Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing automated systems, industrial control solutions, and operational workflows. The role involves system programming, integration, commissioning, troubleshooting, performance optimization, quality assurance, and technical documentation to improve operational efficiency, minimize downtime, and enhance productivity.

This position is ideal for technically skilled individuals who enjoy solving complex engineering problems, integrating hardware and software technologies, and developing reliable automation solutions that improve industrial and operational processes.

Key ResponsibilitiesAutomation System Design & Implementation

• Design, develop, program, and implement automated systems, control solutions, and operational workflows.
• Develop automation programs, software scripts, and system configurations based on technical and operational requirements.
• Integrate hardware, software, sensors, controllers, and automated equipment into functional systems.
• Support the deployment, configuration, and commissioning of automation solutions.
• Evaluate system requirements and recommend technical improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.

Industrial Automation & Control Systems

• Develop, configure, and maintain industrial automation systems, including PLCs, SCADA platforms, and robotic systems, where applicable.
• Support the integration of control devices, industrial equipment, and automation software.
• Analyze system operations and identify opportunities for process automation and optimization.
• Perform system configuration, functional testing, and performance validation.
• Ensure automation systems operate according to established engineering specifications and operational requirements.

System Maintenance & Performance Optimization

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain existing automation systems and infrastructure.
• Diagnose hardware, software, programming, and system integration issues.
• Identify the root causes of equipment failures, operational interruptions, and performance deficiencies.
• Implement corrective measures and technical improvements to minimize downtime.
• Optimize automated processes to improve productivity, system stability, and operational efficiency.

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Conduct system testing, functional verification, and performance evaluations.
• Develop and execute automated testing procedures and software testing scripts when required.
• Analyze diagnostic logs, system reports, and operational data to identify defects and abnormalities.
• Investigate programming errors, system malfunctions, and integration issues.
• Develop and implement corrective solutions to prevent recurring technical problems.
• Verify that completed automation systems meet specified functional and quality requirements.

Engineering & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality Assurance, Production, and other relevant departments during automation projects.
• Gather technical requirements and operational information for system development and integration.
• Participate in engineering discussions, technical evaluations, and project planning activities.
• Provide technical assistance during automation system implementation and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure automated solutions integrate effectively with existing processes and equipment.

Technical Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, engineering drawings, system blueprints, and operating manuals.
• Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for automation systems and related technical processes.
• Document automation programs, system configurations, testing procedures, and maintenance activities.
• Prepare technical reports covering system performance, troubleshooting findings, and implemented improvements.
• Maintain accurate records of system modifications, technical issues, and corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Graduate of BS Electrical Engineering, BS Mechanical Engineering, BS Computer Science, or any related engineering or technical course.
• Proven experience as an Automation Engineer, Robotics Specialist, QA Automation Engineer, or in a closely related technical role.
• Proficiency in programming or scripting languages such as Python, Java, C#, C++, or SQL, depending on project requirements.
• Hands-on experience with automation technologies such as PLC programming, SCADA systems, robotic systems, Selenium, or Jenkins, depending on technical specialization.
• Understanding of automated system design, programming, integration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Ability to analyze technical problems, identify root causes, and implement effective engineering solutions.
• Experience in system testing, debugging, performance monitoring, and quality assurance.
• Ability to prepare and interpret technical documentation, engineering specifications, and operating procedures.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
• Good communication, teamwork, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with engineering and operational teams.
