Automation Engineer

Ensure the proper functioning, programming, monitoring, and improvement of automated systems and industrial equipment to guarantee continuous production, facility safety, and equipment reliability. Automated Systems Management: Program, configure, and optimize programmable logic controllers (PLCs), human-machine interfaces (HMIs), and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems. Industrial Maintenance: Diagnose electrical, electronic, and automation faults, perform corrective actions, and participate in preventive maintenance. Continuous Improvement: Propose and implement technical improvements to optimize equipment performance, productivity, and reliability. Equipment Commissioning: Participate in the installation, testing, start-up, and acceptance of new automated machines. Technical monitoring: Analyze malfunctions, document interventions, and update electrical diagrams, programs, and technical files. Equipment qualification: Participate in equipment qualification and requalification operations, according to applicable internal procedures. Safety: Ensure compliance with electrical safety rules, work instructions, and intervention procedures. Spare parts management: Identify necessary components and contribute to monitoring the inventory of critical parts. Collaboration: Work in coordination with the maintenance, production, quality, and methods departments.
