Vertex Solutions is a growing recruiting firm specializing in Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (A/E/C). We're investing heavily in AI and automation to improve how we source talent, support recruiters, and operate our business.

We've already developed AI-powered workflows and integrated tools into our recruiting processes. We're looking for someone who can help us take these capabilities further.

The Opportunity

We're hiring a hands-on AI Automation & Solutions Specialist to develop, integrate, and maintain AI-powered business workflows.

This is a practical, execution-focused role. You'll work directly with leadership to turn business challenges into functional solutions, improve existing systems, and identify opportunities to increase productivity through automation.

What You'll Do

• Build, test, deploy, and maintain AI-powered workflows and automations.
• Integrate AI tools with business applications, databases, and APIs.
• Improve existing AI agents and automated processes for sourcing, recruiting, and business operations.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and improve system reliability.
• Evaluate existing software and automation platforms against custom development options.
• Document workflows and support adoption across the team.
• Collaborate with leadership to identify and prioritize automation opportunities.

What We're Looking For

• Hands-on experience building AI-powered automations or business applications.
• Working knowledge of LLMs and tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar platforms.
• Experience with Python, APIs, webhooks, JSON, and system integrations.
• Familiarity with automation platforms such as n8n, Make, Zapier, or similar tools.
• Experience with GitHub and AI-assisted development tools.
• Ability to work with databases, troubleshoot integrations, and maintain working solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Experience with AI agents, CRM/ATS integrations, or recruiting technology is a plus, but not required.

A computer science degree is not required. We're more interested in what you've built and your ability to apply technology to real business problems.
