Automation Engineer (PLC)

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and troubleshoot Siemens PLC, HMI, VSD/VFD, SCADA, DCS, BMS and instrumentation systems.
• Troubleshoot PLC programs, hardware, communication networks and system interfaces.
• Perform backups, version control, upgrades, commissioning and automation improvements.
• Coordinate with vendors, Siemens, contractors and HQ, and provide standby support when required.
• Ensure safe and reliable automation system operation.

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation, Instrumentation, Computing or related field.
• 3–4 years’ relevant experience in process automation or manufacturing.
• Strong Siemens PLC knowledge; S7/TIA Portal experience preferred.
• Experience with HMI, SCADA, VSD/VFD, Ethernet, PROFIBUS and MODBUS.
• Allen-Bradley and SQL knowledge are an advantage.
