Automation Engineer (Selenium)

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Python Selenium Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Python programming and automation testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable automation frameworks, executing automated test cases, and ensuring high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Python and Selenium WebDriver
• Develop and execute automated test scripts for web applications
• Perform functional, regression, and end-to-end automation testing
• Handle dynamic web elements using XPath and CSS selectors
• Conduct API testing using Postman or Python Requests library
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand requirements and test scenarios
• Identify, report, and track defects effectively
• Maintain test documentation and automation reports
• Ensure automation best practices and coding standards are followed

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience in Python programming
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver
• Experience with automation frameworks such as PyTest, unittest, or Robot Framework
• Good knowledge of XPath, CSS selectors, and handling dynamic web elements
• Experience in API testing using Postman or Python Requests library
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Familiarity with Git or version control systems
• Understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc. is a plus
