Automation Engineering Supervisor

  JOB SUMMARY

  The Automation Engineering Supervisor will lead the engineering team in designing, implementing, and maintaining automated barcode scanning systems, warehouse automation solutions, and logistics integration projects. This role requires technical expertise in automation systems, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple projects while ensuring quality and safety standards.

  REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  A. Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field

  • OR equivalent experience in automation engineering or industrial systems (3-5 years can substitute for degree)

  B. Experience

  • Minimum 3-5 years in a supervisory or lead engineering role

  • Proven experience designing and implementing automation projects

  • Project management experience with complex automation systems

  C. Technical Skills

  • Understanding of PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) programming and automation controls

  • Experience with industrial automation, SCADA, or robotic systems.

  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor) for system design

  • Knowledge of Industry 4.0, IoT, or AI integration in automation is a plus.

  • Knowledge of conveyor systems and material handling equipment

  • Hands-on experience with sensors, actuators, and fieldbus systems.

  D. Soft Skills

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities

  • Excellent communication skills (both technical and non-technical presentations)

  • Problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities

  • Project management and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
