Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Automation Engineer to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. The candidate will be responsible for automation system programming, troubleshooting, commissioning, and maintenance, with strong hands-on expertise in PLC programming.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs for industrial automation systems.

• Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, and other automation components.

• Troubleshoot electrical and automation-related issues in machinery and production systems.

• Carry out installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of automation systems.

• Read and understand electrical control drawings, wiring diagrams, and control schematics.

• Interface PLCs with motors, drives, sensors, actuators, and other field devices.

• Identify system faults and implement effective corrective solutions.

• Support machine commissioning and provide technical assistance at customer sites when required.

• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and production teams for smooth project execution.

• Prepare technical documentation, programming backups, and commissioning reports.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in PLC Programming is mandatory.

• Knowledge of industrial automation and control systems.

• Good understanding of electrical control panels and automation components.

• Experience with HMI/SCADA will be an added advantage.

• Knowledge of VFDs, sensors, relays, motors, and industrial communication protocols.

• Ability to read electrical drawings and troubleshoot control systems.

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Qualification & Experience

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Automation, or a related field.

• Relevant experience in PLC programming and industrial automation.

• Candidates with experience in machine automation, SPM, conveyors, or manufacturing machinery will be preferred.
