Automation Lead

HiLabs is a healthcare technology company leveraging AI, data engineering, and automation to solve complex healthcare data challenges.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a hands-on Automation Lead to build and drive our next generation of QA Automation and AI-driven testing.

You will own automation strategy, build scalable frameworks, and explore how GenAI and AI Agents can transform software quality and testing.

What You'll Do

• Own QA Automation strategy and framework architecture across UI, API, Backend & E2E.

• Build scalable, reusable automation frameworks using Playwright / Selenium / Cypress.

• Drive API, backend and database automation with strong SQL knowledge.

• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and establish automated quality gates.

• Build AI-powered test automation using GenAI, LLMs and AI Agents for:

• Test case & test data generation

• Automation code generation

• Intelligent test execution

• Failure analysis & defect identification

• Regression optimization

• Reduce dependency on manual testing through an automation-first quality engineering approach.

• Mentor engineers and establish strong automation/coding practices.

What We're Looking For

• 6+ years in QA Automation / SDET
• Strong hands-on programming in Java / Python / JavaScript / TypeScript.
• Expertise in Playwright / Selenium / Cypress.
• Strong API automation, SQL & backend testing experience.
• Experience building automation frameworks from scratch.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD, Git and automation architecture.
• Exposure to GenAI, AI Automation, LLMs or Agentic AI is highly desirable.
• Strong engineering mindset with the ability to design, build and lead, not just execute.
