Automation Manager

Are you passionate about plant automation, DCS systems, and driving operational excellence? We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Automation Manager to lead our automation team and ensure the seamless operation, optimization, and reliability of our plant systems.

Key Responsibilities

·       Manage and oversee Plant Automation and DCS systems, ensuring high standards of performance and reliability.

·       Plan, propose, and control the automation team's annual budget, ensuring strict compliance throughout the year.

·       Define short and long-term strategic targets for automation, aligning with organizational vision.

·       Supervise day-to-day monitoring, troubleshooting, and support for operational and reliability teams.

·       Lead the automation team to execute tasks efficiently and safely, adhering to agreed plans and timelines.

·       Drive continuous improvement in DCS system reliability and implement strategies to minimize system bypasses.

·       Manage and optimize the implementation of system modifications through MOC systems and new projects.

·       Collaborate closely on plant instrumentation topics to ensure ongoing plant reliability.

·       Initiate and implement changes in DCS programming, solving operational problems and optimizing programming as needed.

·       Wire new programming and support project activities related to automation enhancements.

Qualifications and Skills

·       Bachelor’s degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).

·       Proven experience in plant automation and DCS system management.

·       Strong leadership abilities and experience managing technical teams.

·       Demonstrated skills in budget planning, compliance, and strategic goal setting.

·       Solid understanding of instrumentation and control systems in an industrial environment.

·       Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, especially for operational DCS issues.

·       Ability to drive continuous improvement and optimization projects.

·       Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
