Automation Operator

MAC Valves, Inc. designs and manufactures pneumatic and fluid control valves, including proportional valves and flow control and regulator products, for customers worldwide. We’re looking for an operator to run our automated assembly machines and robotic cells and keep our assembly lines supplied with quality sub-assemblies.

What you’ll do:

• Operate automated assembly machines and robotic cells, monitoring cycles and output
• Use HMI screens to start and stop equipment, respond to alarms, and clear faults
• Troubleshoot jams, misfeeds, and other stoppages, and escalate larger problems to maintenance or engineering
• Replace worn or broken fixturing and keep your machine clean and ready to run
• Deliver sub-assemblies to the assembly lines on schedule so the lines never wait on parts
• Check quality, record production data, and follow all safety procedures

What we’re looking for:

• High school diploma or GED, or 1+ years of manufacturing or machine operation experience
• Experience with robotic automation cells (a plus)
• Comfort with HMIs and basic computer use, such as reading machine screens and entering data
• Strong troubleshooting skills, with a habit of finding the cause rather than just resetting the machine
• Ability to stand for a full shift and lift up to 25 lbs

Pay: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour
