Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Automation Patching Engineer to design, automate, implement, test, and troubleshoot enterprise patching solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Ansible Automation Platform, Linux, Windows, Red Hat technologies, databases, middleware, and security practices .

Key Role and Responsibilities:

• Design, build, automate, test, and troubleshoot enterprise patching solutions.
• Develop and maintain patching automation using Ansible Automation Platform.
• Manage patching across Linux, Windows, JBoss, Oracle DB, MQ, and Solaris environments.
• Implement patching processes aligned with IT standards, security practices, and industry best practices.
• Support and administer technologies including Red Hat Satellite, OpenShift, Microsoft SCCM, Oracle OEM/OpsCenter, and related tools.
• Develop scripts and automation to improve patching efficiency and reliability.
• Define and improve patching policies, processes, standards, and procedures.
• Troubleshoot complex patching and automation issues and drive them to resolution.

Required Skills:

• 10+ years of experience in infrastructure automation, patching, or related engineering roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Ansible Automation Platform.
• Expertise in Red Hat Linux, Satellite, OpenShift, and Windows Server.
• Experience with SCCM, Oracle Solaris/OEM OpsCenter, JBoss, Oracle Database, and MQ.
• Strong scripting and automation skills.
• Good understanding of security, IT standards, governance, and enterprise best practices.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
