Automation QA Engineer (playwright)

Project Description:

The Client Digital Assets Crew, located in Switzerland and Poland, consists of two Scrum teams with diverse skill sets. We focus on developing innovative projects based on blockchain technologies, including the tokenization of financial assets. These cloud-hosted projects utilize the latest advanced technologies available. Our team is committed to delivering applications that provide substantial value and innovation to the finance industry.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automated UI and API test suites using Playwright (TypeScript, Python, or Java), ensuring optimal test coverage and reliability.

Build and enhance automated testing frameworks for web applications and event-driven distributed systems, applying QA best practices throughout the test lifecycle.

Integrate automated tests into GitLab CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with Agile teams to ensure high software quality through effective communication and continuous testing

Mandatory Skills Description:

• At least 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance and test automation

• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright with TypeScript, Python or Java. End-to-end test

automation of UI and API defining test cases for optimal coverage

• Experience designing and implementing automated testing frameworks for web applications and

event-driven distributed systems

• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, quality engineering practices, and test

lifecycle management

• Experience working within Agile development teams and integrating automated tests into CI/CD

pipelines. GitLab CI preferably

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a wide range of colleagues

in English
