AUTOMATION SOLUTION MANAGER

About the role

The Automation Solution Manager is responsible for developing, designing, and proposing automated storage and intralogistics solutions based on customer requirements. The role requires strong experience in warehouse automation technologies such as ASRS, 4-Way Shuttle (4WS), Mini Load ASRS, pallet storage systems, conveyors, and other automated material handling solutions. The candidate will work closely with customers, sales teams, engineering teams, and automation technology partners to develop commercially viable and technically suitable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze customer warehouse, storage, and material handling requirements
• Develop automation concepts and system solutions based on customer needs
• Design and propose solutions involving ASRS, 4-Way Shuttle / 4WS systems, Mini Load ASRS, Pallet ASRS, Shuttle systems, Conveyors and material handling systems, Automated picking and storage solutions, and other warehouse automation and intralogistics technologies
• Determine suitable system configurations, capacities, throughput, storage density, and operational requirements
• Prepare conceptual layouts and solution proposals
• Conduct customer meetings and site surveys to understand operational requirements
• Present automation concepts, system designs, benefits, and ROI to customers
• Provide technical consultation to customers and support solution negotiations
• Work closely with the sales team to develop technical and commercial proposals
• Prepare solution concepts, system specifications, layouts, and preliminary costing

About you

• Bachelor's degree/diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Automation, Logistics Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in warehouse automation, intralogistics, automated storage, or material handling solutions
• Strong hands-on experience in developing or proposing automated storage solutions
• Experience in solution design, system concept development, layout planning, costing, and technical proposal preparation
• Good understanding of warehouse operations, storage requirements, throughput calculations, and material flow
• Strong customer-facing and presentation skills
• Able to communicate and negotiate with customers, suppliers, and internal engineering teams
