About the Project:

We are looking for a Tech Lead Test Automation Engineer to join an international project and contribute to the industrialisation and continuous improvement of software testing activities.

In this role, you will be responsible for assessing automation opportunities, designing and developing automated test solutions, and ensuring the integration of automated testing into the software delivery lifecycle.

You will work closely with Quality Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and project teams to transform functional test cases into reliable and maintainable automated test suites, covering UI, API, and Batch testing.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technical professional looking to take a leading role in test automation within a dynamic, Agile, and collaborative environment.

Your Responsibilities:

• Assess the opportunity, feasibility, and value of test automation initiatives .
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Automate and execute functional tests across UI, API, and Batch layers.
• Work closely with Quality Analysts to industrialise functional test cases through automation.
• Design and execute automated test scenarios based on functional and technical requirements.
• Identify, document, track, and validate defects, regressions, and incidents using tools such as Mantis or Jira.
• Maintain and continuously improve automated test assets and test suites.
• Ensure automated tests remain reliable and up to date with application and tool evolutions.
• Collaborate with Development and Product teams to align test automation with project needs.
• Integrate automated tests into the software factory and CI/CD pipelines .
• Analyse automation results, identify issues, and contribute to root-cause analysis.
• Promote test automation best practices, standards, and continuous improvement .
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams regarding automation strategies and solutions.
• Contribute to improving the overall quality, efficiency, and reliability of the testing process.

Your Profile:

• 5+ years of experience in Software Testing, Quality Assurance, or Test Automation.
• Previous experience as a Tech Lead in Test Automation or in a similar technical leadership role.
• Strong understanding of QA principles, testing methodologies, and testing best practices.
• Solid experience creating and executing both manual and automated test cases.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Ability to assess automation feasibility and define appropriate automation strategies.
• Experience collaborating with Quality Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and other stakeholders.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to provide technical guidance and adopt an advisory posture while remaining assertive when required.
• Comfortable working in international and cross-functional teams.
