Automation Technician

Job Requirements

• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates with experience as an Automation Technician, Electrical Technician, or in a similar role will have an added advantage.

• Diploma or formal technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.

• Basic knowledge of industrial automation systems, electrical wiring, PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and control panels is an advantage.

• Able to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.

• Able to do troubleshooting using circuit diagrams

• Good working knowledge of PLC, Inverter, 1 or 3 phase power supply, etc

• Willing to travel to customer sites for installation, commissioning, maintenance, and technical support.

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Positive attitude, responsible, and willing to learn.

• Possession of a valid driving licence is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and commission industrial automation equipment, electrical control panels, and machine systems.
• Assist engineers in machine installation, testing, commissioning, and system integration.
• Carry out electrical wiring, panel wiring, cable routing, and field device installation according to engineering drawings.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company safety procedures and industry standards.
