Automation Technician

We are seeking an experienced Automation Technician to support and maintain automated production and material handling equipment in a fast-paced industrial environment. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing conveyors, PLC-controlled systems, sensors, motors, VFDs, and electrical equipment; performing preventive maintenance; minimizing downtime; and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently. Candidates should have experience with industrial maintenance, electrical troubleshooting (up to 480V), automation systems, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Pay Rate: $27.00-$38.00 per hour DOE

Schedule: Tuesday-Friday, 12:00 PM-8:00 PM; Saturday, 1:00 PM-9:00 PM

Requirements:

• Experience troubleshooting automated equipment and conveyor systems
• Knowledge of PLCs, sensors, motors, VFDs, and electrical systems
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Commitment to workplace safety and equipment reliability
• Previous experience in a distribution, manufacturing, or industrial environment preferred
