A. Troubleshooting and Repair

System Diagnosis: Diagnose and troubleshoot complex failures in automated systems, involving PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), industrial network communications (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet), robotic controllers, and servo/variable frequency drives (VFDs).

Electrical/Mechanical Repair: Execute high-level electrical and mechanical repairs on automated machinery, utilizing skills in industrial wiring, panel building, hydraulics, pneumatics, and precision alignment.

Sensor and Instrumentation: Calibrate, test, and replace various process instrumentation and sensors (e.g., vision systems, proximity sensors, encoders) to ensure machine accuracy.

B. Maintenance and Optimization

Preventive Maintenance (PM): Execute scheduled Preventive Maintenance (PM) routines on robotic arms, precision transfer equipment, and control systems, updating records in the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).

Program Adjustments: Perform minor modifications, adjustments, and backups of PLC and HMI programs as directed by Automation Engineers to optimize machine performance or correct minor issues.

Commissioning Support: Assist Automation Engineers in the installation and commissioning of new automated lines, providing technical expertise and feedback on mechanical and electrical assembly.

C. Safety and Compliance

Safety System Checks: Regularly inspect and test machine safety systems, including safety relays, light curtains, emergency stop circuits, and interlocks, ensuring strict adherence to Lock-out/Tag-out (LOTO) procedures.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance, repairs, and calibration activities. Update basic electrical schematics and control documentation following field modifications.

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
