Automation Test Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer with 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in UI and API automation, scripting, CI/CD integration, and test execution across multiple environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for .NET web applications.
• Perform UI automation testing using Selenium WebDriver.
• Develop API automation tests for REST APIs.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing.
• Validate API request/response, status codes, headers, and data.
• Create and maintain automation test frameworks.
• Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira.
• Work closely with developers to investigate and resolve issues.
• Execute automated test cases as part of CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintain test scripts and documentation as applications evolve.

Required Skills

• 5 to 8 years of experience in Software Testing / Test Automation.
• Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver.
• Programming experience in C#.
• Good understanding of .NET / .NET Core web applications and REST APIs.
• Experience with automation frameworks such as NUnit, xUnit, or MSTest.
• Experience with API testing/automation using Postman, RestSharp, or similar tools.
• Good knowledge of SQL for database validation.
• Experience with Git or other version-control systems.
• Basic experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Good understanding of QA processes, defect life cycle, and testing methodologies.

Good to Have

• Experience with Playwright or Cypress.
• Experience with SpecFlow / BDD.
• Experience testing applications hosted on Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of Docker and containerized applications.
• Experience integrating automation tests into CI/CD pipelines.
