Automation Test Engineer

Responsibilities

1. Test Management & Execution

• Review requirements and design docs for Smart Cockpit modules.
• Plan test schedules, assign tasks, and track overall progress.
• Write test cases and run manual/automated tests (on Bench and real vehicles).
• Find root causes of bugs, track fixes, and support software releases.

2. Performance & Specialized Testing

• Create and improve test plans to boost testing speed and coverage.
• Set system performance standards (boot time, app start speed, CPU/RAM usage, screen smoothness).
• Build automated tools to test performance metrics.

3. Road Testing & Team Building

• Lead road tests in domestic and international locations.
• Help build and upgrade the Smart Cockpit testing platform.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related technical fields.

Experience: 3–5+ years in Automotive Software Testing (focused on Smart Cockpit, IVI, or Digital Cluster).

Technical Skills:

• Hands-on experience with Bench and Vehicle testing environments.
• Strong background in performance testing and automation tool development.
• Good understanding of Smart Cockpit software architecture.

Soft Skills & Mobility:

• Strong team leadership and task management skills.
• Good English communication skills (written & spoken).
• Willingness to travel for overseas road tests.
