Automation Test Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Watermelon Tool.

• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.

• Analyze business requirements and create detailed test scenarios and test cases.

• Identify, log, track, and verify software defects.

• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and project stakeholders.

• Generate automation test reports and provide testing status updates.

• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and Agile ceremonies.

• Ensure test coverage and improve automation framework efficiency.

• Support CI/CD implementation and automated test execution processes.

• Hands-on experience with Watermelon Automation Testing Tool.

• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes.

• Experience in test case design, execution, and defect management.

• Knowledge of Web, Mobile, and API testing.

• Familiarity with SQL and database validation.

• Exposure to automation frameworks and scripting concepts.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
