Automation Test Engineer - Python ETL GCP

Role & responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and execute automation test scripts using Python.
• Perform ETL testing, data validation, and data quality checks across source and target systems.
• Validate data transformation, integration workflows, and ETL pipelines.
• Work with GCP services, including Monitoring, Alerting, BigQuery, and Vertex AI.
• Identify, analyze, and report defects and coordinate with development teams for resolution.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and automation testing.
• Develop and maintain reusable automation frameworks and improve test coverage.
• Implement BDD using Cucumber and collaborate with teams using Azure DevOps.
• Analyze test results and prepare relevant testing documentation and reports.
• Work effectively with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Preferred candidate profile

• 810 years of relevant experience in Software Testing / QA Automation.
• Strong hands-on experience in Python Automation Testing.
• Strong experience in ETL Testing and Data Validation.
• Basic knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Exposure to GCP Monitoring, Alerting, BigQuery, and Vertex AI.
• Good understanding of BDD and Cucumber.
• Experience with Azure DevOps is preferred.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Candidates who can join within 030 days are preferred.
• Willingness to work onsite in Bengaluru / PAN India locations.
