Automation Test Engineer using Selenium, Java, Playwright & API

We are looking for a Senior Automation Test Engineer with 3-8 years of experience in Quality Engineering and Test Automation to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Playwright, Selenium, Java, and API Testing, along with a passion for building robust automation frameworks and delivering high-quality software solutions.

WFO mode

Immediate to 15 joiners are preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and Java.
• Build, enhance, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web applications.
• Perform UI and API automation testing to ensure product quality and reliability.
• Analyze test execution results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams for timely resolution.
• Work closely with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and define comprehensive test scenarios.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline automation and continuous testing initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, testing best practices, and automation guidelines throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in test planning, test strategy discussions, and quality improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong programming skills in Java.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright test automation.
• Working knowledge of Selenium WebDriver.
• Experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of automation framework design and development.
• Experience with test frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit.
• Good understanding of API testing and RESTful services.
• Familiarity with Git, version control practices, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of test reporting and test management tools.
• Exposure to cloud-based testing environments is an added advantage.
