Automation Tester

Experis IT Luxembourg is actively looking for an Automation Tester for one of its clients in Luxembourg.

Your responsibilities:

• Play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and efficiency of software deliveries across the organization.
• Acting as both a quality advocate and automation expert and contribute to the definition of testing strategies while designing and implementing robust automated testing solutions.
• Define and execute test strategies covering functional, integration, end-to-end, performance, security, and regression testing.
• Plan, coordinate, and support testing activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Analyze business and technical requirements to identify testing and automation opportunities.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and testing frameworks.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing practices.
• Monitor testing activities, analyze defects, and contribute to root cause investigations.
• Define and track testing KPIs and quality metrics.
• Contribute to Go/No-Go decisions and quality reporting.
• Promote best practices in test management, automation, and software quality assurance.
• Leverage AI-powered tools to generate test cases, accelerate automation development, optimize test data management, and enhance test analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve QA processes, DevOps practices, and overall delivery quality.
• Support and coach teams on testing methodologies, automation frameworks, and quality standards.

Your profile:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• Proven experience in both test coordination and test automation activities.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (ISTQB, TMap, or equivalent).
• Experience working in Agile, DevOps, or DevSecOps environments.
• Solid knowledge of test management and defect tracking processes.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as: Playwright, Cucumber / Gherkin, Postman / API Testing, SonarQube, Appium, Gatling, Xray / Jira
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Professional proficiency in French and English.
• Experience within the insurance, banking, or financial services sector.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent.
• Experience with AI-assisted testing solutions and generative AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, Claude, or ChatGPT.
• Knowledge of test strategy governance, quality metrics, and release management.
• Experience in large-scale or multi-project environments.
