Automations & AI Solutions Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and self-driven Automation & AI Solutions Engineer to join our client's growing interior design firm. As the technical owner of their automation and AI ecosystem, you will design, build, and maintain production-grade workflows and intelligent systems that streamline operations across the business — from lead intake to project delivery. This role allows the internal design team to stay focused on client work while you manage the systems and integrations that keep everything running behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities

Automations & Integrations

• Design and maintain n8n workflows connecting CRMs, project management tools, and vendor/supplier systems
• Automate lead intake, project status updates, client communications, and scheduling touchpoints
• Implement error handling, retries, idempotency, alerts, and runbooks to ensure reliability
• Integrate third-party platforms including Gmail/Google Workspace, accounting tools, and ERPs as needed

AI Solutions

• Build AI agents, document QA, summarization, and routing tools tailored to business workflows
• Evaluate and iterate on prompts and tools; add guardrails and usage analytics
• Develop RAG-based search to support internal knowledge and document retrieval

Python Services

• Ship FastAPI microservices and background jobs including schedulers and data sync tasks
• Package, version, and instrument services with proper logging, metrics, and traces
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines for all deployed services

Data & Analytics

• Model clean, well-structured datasets across integrated systems
• Support Power BI dashboards and scheduled data refreshes for business reporting

Security & Governance

• Manage secrets and enforce least-privilege access across all systems
• Document data flows and handle PII responsibly per best practices

Consulting & Enablement

• Join periodic client calls to translate business needs into actionable technical plans
• Communicate trade-offs clearly and deliver SOPs and short how-to videos per project

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in a senior technical, automation engineering, or enterprise architecture role
• 4+ years of hands-on Python experience (FastAPI, background jobs, packaging, CI/CD)
• 3+ years of hands-on n8n experience building and maintaining production workflows
• Strong understanding of AI/LLM tooling (OpenAI, Azure AI, AWS AI services, or equivalent)
• Experience integrating CRMs, PM tools, ERPs, or similar business systems
• Familiarity with cloud architecture (GCP preferred; Azure or AWS acceptable)
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a fully remote setup

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Gmail, Twilio, or O365 APIs
• Document parsing and OCR experience
• Familiarity with vector databases (pgvector, Pinecone, or similar)
• Basic React for lightweight front-end tooling
• Background in client-facing or consulting environments

Work Schedule & Availability

• Adherence to the client’s time zone and schedule is a must (CST)

Pay: Php430.00 per hour
