AUTOMATIVE PURCHASER

About the role

Source and purchase automotive parts, supplies, tools, and other materials required by the company. Identify and coordinate with reliable suppliers, request and compare quotations, and negotiate prices and payment terms. Monitor purchase orders, deliveries, and inventory levels while verifying received items against specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Source and purchase automotive parts, supplies, tools, and other materials required by the company
• Identify and coordinate with reliable suppliers of automotive parts
• Request and compare supplier quotations, prices, quality, and delivery lead times
• Negotiate prices and payment terms with suppliers when applicable
• Coordinate with the Auto Technician/Auto Electrician and other departments regarding required parts and materials
• Monitor purchase orders, deliveries, and pending orders
• Verify received items against purchase orders, invoices, and requested specifications
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment of commonly used automotive parts and supplies
• Assist in finding alternative suppliers or equivalent parts when needed

About you

• Relevant experience in purchasing automotive parts, preferably for an automotive shop, dealership, repair facility, or related industry
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts, components, tools, and supplies
• Experience in supplier sourcing, canvassing, quotation comparison, and price negotiation
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel
• Can work with minimal supervision and manage multiple purchasing requests
• Willing to work onsite in Imus, Cavite
