2nd & 3rd Year Automotive Apprentice Technician

We are hiring a motivated 2nd & 3rd Year Automotive Service Technician Apprentice to join our team at our brand-new OK Tire location on Ewing Trail SW in Edmonton.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a new shop from the beginning, work in a modern facility with new equipment, and grow with the business while completing your apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle inspections, maintenance, and general mechanical repairs
• Oil changes, fluid services, filters, and scheduled maintenance
• Brake, steering, driveline and suspension repairs
• Tire installation, balancing, (When required)
• Assist with diagnostics and electrical repairs
• Follow proper repair procedures and industry standards
• Accurately document work performed and recommended repairs
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Work closely with Journeyman Technicians and Service Advisors

Qualifications

• Registered 2nd or 3rd Year Automotive Service Technician Apprentice in Alberta
• automotive repair shop experience
• Valid Alberta driver's licence
• Own basic automotive tools
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability may be required during peak seasons

Requirements

• Alberta Automotive Service Technician Apprenticeship registration
• Valid Driver's Licence
• Automotive repair experience preferred
