What they need
Integrating EMC strategies into the design process from the very early stages of System-in-Package (SiP) and PCB layout. You will work closely with the IC design, packaging, firmware, and functional safety (ISO 26262) teams to ensure our products meet the most stringent Tier-1 and automotive certification standards globally on the first attempt. Key Responsibilities 1. Board Co-Design for EMC:
- Design and optimize the power distribution network (PDN), developing placement and selection strategies for decoupling capacitors to reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI) and improve electromagnetic stability (EMS) at the source. 2. Advanced EM Simulation:
- Before tape-out and PCB fabrication, perform system-level radiated and conducted noise simulation analysis using 3D EM simulation software (such as Ansys, CST) to identify and eliminate potential EMC risks in advance. 3. Automotive Standard Compliance:
- Ensure products comply with global automotive EMC standards, including CISPR
Main Requirements and Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Electromagnetism, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 2 years of relevant work experience in the EMC field, including experience in EMC development or debugging of automotive electronic products.
- Core Skills: Strong foundation in microwave/electromagnetic theory, familiar with various EMI radiation mechanisms and EMS coupling paths.
- Proficient in the basic principles of signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI), and able to interpret S-parameter and PDN impedance curves.
- Proficient in operating laboratory instruments, such as: Spectrum Analyzer, Virtual Network Analyzer (VNA), High-frequency oscilloscope, Near-field probes, etc.
- Familiar with the testing methods and limit requirements of international automotive EMC standards (CISPR 25, ISO 11452, etc.).
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and cross-departmental communication and coordination skills (requires frequent communication with HW/SW/IC Designers).
- 【Preferred Qualifications】(Candidates with any of the following qualifications will be given priority )
- Experience in EMC co-design at the **chip-level (IC-level) or system-in-package (SiP/MCM)** level.
- Proficient in advanced electromagnetic simulation software, such as Ansys (HFSS, SIwave), CST Studio Suite, Keysight ADS, etc.
- Familiar with EMC design strategies and RF co-existence (e.g., GPS/5G De-sense) analysis for high-speed transmission interfaces (e.g., PCIe Gen4/Gen5, USB2/3, LPDDR4/5, MIPI, Automotive Ethernet).
- Possess basic concepts of functional safety standards (ISO 26262) and understand the impact of EMC failures on functional safety.
- Has experience directly dealing with technical specifications and audits with international Tier-1 automotive component manufacturers (such as Bosch, Continental, Denso, etc.) or car manufacturers.
