About the Role

Shape next-generation connected vehicle systems. Hitachi Digital Services is hiring an Automotive Embedded Software Engineer (3+ years) to architect, implement, and validate low-level firmware, board-level device drivers, and automotive software platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Driver & Firmware Development: Design, code, and test device drivers and low-level software components on Embedded Linux and/or Zephyr RTOS.
• OSAL & Architecture: Develop Operating System Abstraction Layers (OSAL) to ensure software portability across hardware platforms.
• Kernel & Board Support: Develop and optimize Embedded Linux Kernel, U-Boot, and board bring-up configurations.
• Hardware Integration: Read hardware schematics/datasheets and debug firmware using hardware emulators, logic analyzers, and simulators.
• Quality & Validation: Execute unit, integration, and qualification testing across the full automotive SDLC.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Automotive Embedded Systems or Embedded Linux development.
• Expert programming proficiency in C/C++, Makefiles, and Shell scripting.
• Strong background in Embedded Linux (Kernel/Driver/U-Boot) or Zephyr RTOS / OSAL.
• Solid grasp of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, SPI, I2C).
• Nice to have: Experience with AUTOSAR Classic (MCAL, BSW, DaVinci tools) or Renesas FSP (RA/RX/RZ platforms).
• Strong technical reading/writing skills in English.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to 80,000,000₫ per month
