Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
• Repair and maintain mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspension systems, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components.
• Conduct routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to ensure safety and performance standards are met.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy equipment mechanics techniques to execute repairs efficiently.
• Work with automotive schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems on various vehicle makes, including GM vehicles.
• Repair ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and automotive electrical systems to enhance vehicle safety features.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with a strong mechanical knowledge base.
• Dealership experience or background working with GM vehicles is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in automotive diagnostics, schematics interpretation, and mechanical systems repair.
• Skilled in repairing diesel engines, transmissions (including heavy-duty), air brakes, suspension systems, and powertrain components.
• Familiarity with automotive electrical systems, ADAS technology, alignment procedures, tire service, shocks & struts replacement.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools effectively.
• Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures including oil changes and brake repairs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a customer-focused approach to service delivery.

Pay: $27.12 - $32.66 per hour
