Duties

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
• Conduct repairs on various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components.
• Execute routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to uphold safety standards.
• Repair and replace automotive components utilizing hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized heavy equipment mechanics tools.
• Service diesel engines and heavy-duty vehicles by diagnosing issues related to diesel mechanics and air brake systems.
• Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems efficiently.
• Ensure all repairs meet dealership or industry standards while maintaining high levels of customer service through clear communication about vehicle conditions and recommended services.

Experience

• Proven experience working as an automotive mechanic within a dealership or automotive repair shop environment.
• Familiarity with automotive diagnostics software and schematics for efficient troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience repairing diesel engines, transmissions, powertrains, and suspension systems.
• Knowledge of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), auto electrical systems, auto body repair, and auto estimating is highly desirable.
• Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by the ability to use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools effectively.
• Experience working with GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus but not required.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on delivering quality repairs in a timely manner.

Pay: $100.00 - $150.00 per day
