Automotive Mechanic

Automotive Mechanic – $25/hour

Looking for a shop where doing the job right still matters?

Blue Skies Automotive is a locally owned and growing repair shop in Nampa, and we’re looking for a Mechanic who takes pride in their work and wants to be part of a team that takes care of its customers.

At Blue Skies Automotive, fixing cars is what we do—but serving customers is the business we’re in.

That means we diagnose before we guess. We recommend what a vehicle needs. We communicate honestly. And when a customer trusts us with their vehicle, we take that responsibility seriously.

We’re looking for a mechanic who feels the same way.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform automotive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of vehicles
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical concerns
• Perform brake, steering, suspension, cooling system, and other general automotive repairs
• Complete vehicle inspections and identify needed or recommended maintenance and repairs
• Clearly document your findings so our Service Writer can communicate them accurately to the customer
• Complete repairs correctly and efficiently
• Verify your work before the vehicle leaves the shop
• Keep your work area organized and equipment properly maintained
• Work with the rest of the team to keep the shop running smoothly
• Continue developing your skills as automotive technology changes

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone with professional automotive repair experience and a solid mechanical foundation.

Just as importantly, we want someone who:

• Shows up and can be counted on
• Takes pride in the quality of their work
• Is willing to learn and continue improving
• Can troubleshoot rather than simply replace parts
• Pays attention to the details
• Communicates well with the rest of the team
• Takes responsibility for their work
• Understands that every vehicle belongs to a customer who is counting on us

A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.

Pay: $25.00 per hour

We’re building Blue Skies Automotive for the long term, and we want people who are interested in growing with us.

If you enjoy working on vehicles, take pride in doing things correctly, and want to work somewhere that values both quality workmanship and taking care of people, we’d like to meet you.

From rough roads to Blue Skies, you can count on us.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 per week
