Automotive Mechanic

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Automotive Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicle systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. Duties

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
• Repair and maintain various vehicle components such as engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to uphold safety standards.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools efficiently for repairs and installations.
• Work on complex systems like ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), auto body repairs, and auto estimating with precision.
• Follow manufacturer specifications and schematics to ensure high-quality repairs on all makes and models, including GM vehicles when applicable.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.

Requirements

• Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with dealership experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including diesel engines, transmissions, electrical systems, suspension systems, and brake repair.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals accurately.
• Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics tools and software for troubleshooting complex issues.
• Familiarity with ADAS technology, air brake systems, heavy equipment mechanics, and auto body repair is a plus.
• Valid mechanic certification or licensing as required by local regulations; ASE certification is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to vehicle maintenance and repair tasks.
• Commitment to safety standards and quality workmanship in all repairs performed.

Pay: $15.00 - $24.00 per hour
