Automotive Powertrain Technician

• Engine and Transmission Specialist - Able to dissemble and rebuild major components
• Proven professional with experience as an Automotive Technician, Powertrain Technician, Engine Technician, or Transmission Technician.
• Strong practical knowledge of modern automotive powertrain and engine systems.
• Experience with internal combustion engines and modern electronically controlled powertrain systems.
• Good understanding of automatic transmission operation and diagnostics.
• Strong mechanical fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to use professional automotive diagnostic equipment.
• Understanding of vehicle electrical and electronic systems relevant to engine and transmission operation.
• Ability to read and understand technical information, workshop manuals, and wiring diagrams.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Relevant automotive technical qualification or certification is preferred.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Experience working on European and prestige automotive brands is highly advantageous.
• Experience with brands such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Porsche, Range Rover/Land Rover, Bentley, Maserati, Jaguar, or similar would be preferred.
• Previous experience in a premium dealership, specialist workshop, or European vehicle service environment is an advantage.
• Experience with advanced electronically controlled transmissions and modern engine management systems is highly desirable.
• GCC workshop experience is preferred, although suitably qualified candidates from other regions and countries will also be considered.
