Automotive Reconditioning Technician

Showroom Express is a mobile automotive restoration crew — we bring the shop on the road. Windshield repair, spray-in bedliners, dye trim restoration, wheel aesthetic repair and more! We roll up in a fully stocked rig, transform a vehicle on-site, and roll out to the next one. If you like variety, working with your hands, being outside instead of stuck under fluorescent lights, and getting paid what you're actually worth, you're a great fit!

What you'll actually be doing

• Running your own route, hitting multiple customer stops a day.
• Performing hands-on restoration work: windshield repairs, bedliner spray applications, trim dye restoration, wheel sanding and finishing.
• Representing Showroom Express face-to-face with every customer — you're the guy who shows up, does great work, and makes them glad they called us.
• Managing your own schedule and route efficiency like it's your own small business (because in a lot of ways, it is).
• Working outdoors, on a flexible schedule, receiving uncapped earnings.

Who does well here

• You've got a strong work ethic and don't need someone standing over your shoulder to stay productive.
• You're not afraid of physical work or being outside.
• You've got a natural, likable personality — people trust you fast and enjoy having you around (this isn't a sales role, but if you've got that easy confidence, it'll take you far!)

No automotive experience? No problem. We train. What we can't train is drive, reliability, and a good attitude — bring those and we'll teach you the rest.

Compensation

• Training period: You'll be paid a base salary or commission — whichever is greater — while you learn the trade. No risk while you're ramping up.
• After training: Top performers can move to a higher commission plan with uncapped earning potential, or stay on a strong salaried plan — your choice, based on management review and performance.
• Your paycheck grows with your skill and hustle. The technicians who treat their route like their own business are the ones who make the most money here.
